West Sixth Brewing Takes an Upward Leap in Covington
A Lexington-based craft brewery, West Sixth Brewing, has announced a major expansion with the planned opening of a new taproom and restaurant in Northern Kentucky’s bustling heart, Covington. The new establishment, to be named West Sixth Covington Haus, will occupy the former Flying Axes space located at 100 W. Sixth St., beneath the Second Story cocktail bar.

The brewery first broke the news about the expansion on its official website, where it outlined new plans for creating a significant foothold in the Cincinnati area. Design plans highlight a large, standout bar area, an expansive dining section, and an outdoor beer garden complete with lounge seating.
