Vehicle Crash on Muir Station Road Leaves One Injured and Car Engulfed in Flames

Lexington, Ky. — A vehicle crash on Muir Station Road resulted in minor injuries to one individual on Friday afternoon, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The incident was reported at approximately 4:38 p.m. when authorities received a call regarding the accident. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a car that had crashed into a tree and was fully engulfed in flames.

Responders from the Lexington Fire Department reported that the fire was extinguished within five to ten minutes of their arrival on the scene. One individual was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of their minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, as authorities work to gather further details. No additional information about the individuals involved or the vehicle has been released at this time.
