Lexington residents are advised to prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday amid a chance of winter storms approaching next week, as local meteorologist Chris Bailey has noted a change in weather patterns. The city recently experienced its first snowstorm of the season, marking a shift towards colder temperatures.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, it is essential for those in Lexington to know which local stores will be open for last-minute grocery needs. Several supermarkets and retail outlets have adjusted their hours for the holiday.

Thanksgiving Store Hours in Lexington:

  • Aldi: Closed
  • Costco: Closed
  • Kroger: Open until 3 p.m.
  • Meijer: Open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pharmacy closes at 2 p.m.)
  • Sam’s Club: Closed
  • Save A Lot: Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Target: Closed
  • Trader Joe’s: Closed
  • Walmart: Closed, operating normal hours on Black Friday
  • Whole Foods: Open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
