Suspect Arrested in Burglary at Lexington’s Giuseppe’s Ristorante Italiano

The suspect, identified as Paul V. Masters, is accused of disabling the restaurant’s alarm system prior to the burglary. Subsequently, he utilized a dolly to transport a cash register and a safe containing an undisclosed amount of money away from the premises. This brazen act not only deprived the restaurant of funds but also resulted in significant property damage, including broken windows and damaged ceiling tiles.

In response to the theft, the 27-year-old restaurant promptly began cleanup operations, ensuring they were ready to open the following morning despite the damages incurred. Employees worked diligently to restore the establishment to its usual inviting atmosphere for both regular and new patrons.
