In a terrifying incident on Sunday night, five individuals were injured in a car crash in Lexington, KY. Authorities were notified of the accident, which took place at the intersection of Versailles Road and Delmont Drive around 7:20 p.m.
Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision; according to preliminary investigations carried out by the police, the accident resulted from a rear-end collision at the intersection. Soon after the crash occurred, the first responders reached the accident scene. An unidentified eye witness described the situation, “Paramedics arrived swiftly, and the area was flooded with blue lights. It was a terrifying sight, I hope everyone is okay.”
As per the latest updates, all five individuals injured in the crash were rushed to a nearby hospital. The victims are said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries. The authorities have chosen not to reveal the identities of the injured while their families are notified.
