STUNT Clinics to be Held in Lexington, Kentucky

Exciting STUNT Clinics Coming to Lexington, Kentucky!

Lexington is buzzing with excitement as the University of Kentucky is all set to host a series of STUNT clinics in 2024 for female athletes wanting to dive deeper into the world of STUNT. These clinics offer a fantastic chance for young women to enhance their skills, learn new techniques, and gain formal education in this thrilling sport.

Mark Your Calendars!

First up is the highly anticipated October Clinic— a day dedicated exclusively to female athletes. Here’s what you need to know:

Date: October 19, 2024
Location: Memorial Coliseum, 201 Avenue of Champions, Lexington, KY 40508
Two Sessions:

Session 1: 6th grade to 10th grade
Session 2: 11th grade to current college students

Session 1 Check In: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM; Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Session 2 Check In: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM; Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Limited Spaces: 35 spots in Session 1, and 75 spots in Session 2.
Registration Fee: $75.00 (don’t forget to register before October 18, 2024!)

If you wait until the last minute, you might be able to walk up, but only if there’s space available after checking the online waitlist. Don’t forget, if you’re part of a group of 10 or more, you might be eligible for discounted rates by contacting the coaches!

What to Prepare

Before heading to the clinic, make sure to gather a current physical and a copy of your insurance card. Participants should dress in appropriate athletic clothing like a t-shirt and cheer shoes – comfort is key! Oh, and just a heads-up: jewelry and gum are no-nos during the clinic.

Date: June 13-14, 2024
Location: Seaton Center, 1210 University Dr, Lexington, KY 40502
Ages: Kindergarten to 5th grade
Check In: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM; Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (both days)
Spaces: Limited to 40 participants
Registration Fee: $100.00 (register by June 12, 2024)
Make sure to bring your own lunch and leave jewelry and gum at home!

High School and College Clinics

Right after the Little Stunters, there’s more action with two clinics for older athletes:

Date: June 15, 2024
Location: Seaton Center, 1210 University Dr, Lexington, KY 40502
Ages: 9th grade to current college students
Check In: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM; Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Spaces: Limited to 45 participants
Registration Fee: $70.00 (register by June 14, 2024)

And again in August:

Date: August 3, 2024
Spaces: Also limited to 45 participants

For these events, don’t forget about the required documentation and payment details. Cash/checks are welcome for walk-ups, and yes, jewelry and gum are still off the table.
