LEXINGTON, Ky. — A stabbing incident led to the arrest of one individual on Tuesday morning in the 3600 block of Appian Way. The Lexington Police Department received a call at approximately 10:13 a.m. regarding potential shots fired in the area.
Upon police arrival, officers determined that there were no shots fired. Instead, they discovered that two neighbors had been involved in a dispute, which escalated to physical violence. It was reported that one individual sustained minor injuries due to what authorities have classified as a stabbing.
Despite the injuries, no individuals were transported from the scene for medical evaluation or treatment. After the situation was assessed, law enforcement arrested one party involved in the altercation and charged them with assault.
