Taft is currently facing multiple charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm within city limits. In another troubling event, the police are investigating the homicide of Arsenio Jackson Jr., a 16-year-old boy discovered dead from gunshot wounds on Rambling Creek Drive just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Jackson was a junior at Henry Clay High School in Fayette County. The Fayette County Coroner confirmed that he died from gunfire, though details regarding the circumstances surrounding his death remain undisclosed.
