Shooting at Lexington Apartment Complex Leaves One Dead, One Injured

LEXINGTON, Ky. – A shooting at an apartment complex on Tates Creek Road led to one fatality and left another person injured on Thursday night. The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. near the intersection with Armstrong Mill Road.

Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. One victim was pronounced dead by the coroner upon arrival, while the second victim is expected to survive their injuries.

Authorities have not disclosed the identities of the victims and stated that there have been no arrests related to the shooting as of now. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
