Investigation Launched Following Tragic Shooting in Nicholasville, Kentucky

Nicholasville, Ky. — Police launched an investigation Saturday morning following a tragic shooting that resulted in a woman’s death. The incident began with a call to authorities concerning a shooting at a residence on Edwards Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 20-year-old Isabella Walsh. The Nicholasville Police Department has since identified her boyfriend, 21-year-old Willy Milfort Jr., as a suspect in the case.

In the wake of their investigation, police secured an arrest warrant for Milfort and proceeded to his family’s home located on Winners Circle. As law enforcement approached the residence, Milfort tragically took his own life.

The police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. The Nicholasville Police Department has expressed its condolences to both families and the wider community, highlighting the emotional toll this event has had.
