Tragic Pedestrian Incident in Lexington

Lexington, Ky. – A pedestrian was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night, marking a somber event in the community. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Winchester Road and East Loudon.

According to Lexington Police, they responded to calls reporting the incident and found the pedestrian injured at the scene. The Fayette County Coroner confirmed the individual was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived. At this time, authorities have not released the name of the deceased.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was reportedly uninjured.
