New Thai Restaurant Opens in Lexington, Offering Traditional Cuisine and Excellent Service

Lexington welcomes a new culinary addition with the opening of a Thai restaurant at 911 Winchester Road. The establishment marks the second location of Thai House, owned by Sarayuth “Paul” Sanaajhan, who already operates a successful restaurant in Georgetown. The new location officially opened its doors on November 21, following the closure of Jasmine Rice Thai & Vietnamese Cuisine at the same site.

Sanaajhan, expressing his passion for cooking, stated, “I just love to cook and I’m happy to be here.” The restaurant features a menu filled with traditional Thai favorites, including Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Pad Kapow, and assorted curries.

Recent visits to the Lexington location have reported excellent service and food quality, despite the restaurant’s plain appearance. The simple decor does not detract from the dining experience, as the focus remains firmly on the flavorful dishes served. Diners can enjoy both lunch and dinner, with options for dine-in or carryout available every day.

The operational hours for the new Thai House are from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for dinner.

Meanwhile, former owner of Jasmine Rice, Nipaporn “Kukie” Ruadrew, is not completely stepping away from the culinary scene. She is reportedly exploring ways to stay active in the community, including bringing her food truck to local events and festivals, offering cooking classes, and selling home-grown Thai vegetables at the farmers market.

As the Lexington dining scene continues to evolve, the arrival of Thai House provides residents with another option for authentic Thai cuisine, promising a delightful experience for both loyal fans of Thai food and newcomers to the flavors of Thailand.
