Lexington will soon welcome a new culinary establishment, 3TEN, aiming to provide a unique dining experience that blends flavors from around the world. The restaurant is set to open its doors on December 10, realizing a long-held dream for chef Jonathan Lundy, who has spent over 30 years in the culinary scene.
3TEN, located at 310 Short Street, was acquired this summer from the previous owners of Creaux. The space has undergone significant renovations, transforming into a cozy 49-seat hideaway that features a warm ambiance with neutrals and colorful accents around the bar, which serves as the centerpiece.
Along with Lundy, certified sommelier TJ Cox and Brie Cox are co-owners of the restaurant. The trio has previously collaborated at various establishments, but this time they are fully in control of both the business and the property. “It’s an homage to world cuisine,” Cox explained, highlighting the restaurant’s focus on diverse, small plates designed for sharing.
The menu will change seasonally and include a wide array of dishes such as Papas Bravas, lobster Rangoon, Popcorn Chicken with habanero honey, lamb Samosas, and pork belly Bao Buns. Prices for dishes will range from $12 to $30, encouraging patrons to experience multiple flavors during their visit.
The beverage menu at 3TEN promises to be just as eclectic, featuring cocktails like The Cashmere, which combines Weller 12 bourbon with various distinctive elements. Additionally, a unique Bartender’s Choice allows guests to select flavor profiles that inspire a custom drink. Another notable offering is the Luxury Old Fashioned, which utilizes premium ingredients to create a rich experience.
For those seeking an intimate dining setting, the restaurant includes a space for both reservations and walk-ins. The decoration encompasses thoughtful touches, including under-table warmers for added comfort and intimate lighting that enhances the dining experience. The Loft area accommodates up to 14 guests for semi-private dining, with options for smaller party reservations available as well.
3TEN will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., closing on Mondays. Interested customers can visit 3tenlex.com for bookings or contact the restaurant directly at (859) 407-2305.
