Heartache in Jessamine County: Families of Missing Men Search for Answers

Jessamine County, KY – It’s been difficult times for families in Jessamine County as they grapple with the disappearance of their beloved members. Timmy Sterner, 27, has been missing for several months, and Anthony Quinn, 42, vanished in August. Despite law enforcement stating that the two cases are not connected, the heartache binds these families in a way that words often fail to convey.

A Desperate Search for Timmy Sterner

Timmy was last seen on April 9 at a home on River Road. His uncle, Terrance Sterner, expressed a sentiment shared by many when he said, “It’s bothering us, we’re tired, we’re worn out. I’ve been through this countryside looking for any sign of anything.”

The Kentucky State Police are leading the search but shared that the information about Timmy’s case is “not very accurate.” KSP Trooper Justin Kearney mentioned that their search is hindered until locals come forward with any legitimate tips that could help lead them to Timmy. His family is making a plea to everyone in the community: “If you have seen him or heard anything, please reach out.”

Searching for Answers in Anthony Quinn’s Case

Meanwhile, in a parallel story, the family and friends of Anthony Quinn continue their own search for clarity. Anthony was last seen in Maysville on August 8, and his vehicle was later located at the end of Brumfield Lane in Nicholasville. Karmen Summers, a close friend of Anthony, explained the toll that anxiety has taken on everyone involved, stating, “We need to move forward with our lives, we have not slept, we are physically sick, and we just want answers.”

Common Threads: Hardworking Souls Vanishing

Both families share similarities that create an unbreakable bond in their grief. “Both of these men are hard-working souls who just vanished,” commented Heather Wood, Anthony’s sister. The pain is palpable as both families continue to seek closure and any sign of their loved ones.

Law Enforcement Collaboration

While KSP is focused on Timmy’s case and the Nicholasville Police team is looking for leads in Anthony’s disappearance, they assure the community that they are maintaining open lines of communication. Officials recognize that even though many months have passed since the two individuals went missing, it doesn’t hurt to explore every possible lead. Trooper Kearney added, “Our hope is both of these men are still alive and we can reunite them with their families, but if that’s not the case, we hope anyone out there that knows anything can point us in the right direction to where we can bring both of these families peace.”

What You Can Do

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Timmy Sterner, please contact the Kentucky State Police. Likewise, if you can provide any insight into the whereabouts of Anthony Quinn, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Nicholasville Police.

In times of darkness, hope binds us together, and every piece of information could be the key to reuniting these families with their loved ones. As they hold onto hope, the community is reminded of the power of unity in the face of uncertainty.
