Golden Alert Issued for Missing Lexington Man
Lexington, KY – A Golden Alert has been called for Kenneth “Kenny” Higgins, a 32-year-old from Lexington who has been missing since Saturday, March 23, around 9 a.m. Kenneth was last seen near the 1000 block of Firethorn Place.
Description of the Missing Man
Kenneth is described as being six feet and one inch tall, and weighing approximately 320 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair that is a mixture of brown and grey. The last outfit he was seen in consisted of black pants, a dark oversized t-shirt, a dark-hooded sweatshirt, and slip-on shoes.
Special Needs
Kenneth reportedly suffers from autism and schizophrenia and requires medication. Given his medical condition, the local authorities have issued a Golden Alert to facilitate his rapid and safe return to his family.

Residents of Lexington and the surrounding areas are being asked to keep an eye out for Kenneth. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who thinks they might have seen him since his disappearance, is asked to directly call 911 and relay their information to the police.

Further, a local 59-year-old woman was reportedly stabbed inside her garage by two small boys. A semi-truck fire also shut down I-64 east early Sunday morning.
