Melanie’s Premium Outlet Opens in Winchester, Offering Quality Goods at Outlet Prices

Winchester, Kentucky – A new retail option has opened in Clark County, offering residents an opportunity to purchase high-quality items at appealing prices. Melanie’s Premium Outlet officially opened its doors at 810 Suite B on Bypass Road, conveniently located near DJ’s Steakhouse, Cupcake Apothecary, and Metro by T-Mobile.

The store offers a range of retail products at outlet prices, open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and remains closed on Sundays and Mondays. According to Robert Pritchett, the owner of the outlet, the business aims to provide “premium outlet stuff” at significantly reduced prices.

Shoppers can find a variety of items including juicers, electric skillets, and name-brand clothing, with prices ranging from $6 to $20—a stark contrast to typical retail prices that could be anywhere from $25 to $125. The outlet also features eclectic goods like a Wolfgang Puck air fryer, University of Kentucky memorabilia, and holiday-themed decorations.

Pritchett expressed excitement about the upcoming holiday season, mentioning that the store will expand its toy selection in preparation for Christmas. “You’ll see many more toys here,” he noted, along with decorative items such as snowmen and Santa Claus figures.

Customer service is a key focus at Melanie’s Premium Outlet, where shoppers are welcomed with complimentary coffee and bottled water. The store is designed to be comfortable, with baskets available for customers to carry their selected items while they browse. According to Pritchett, the inventory will evolve frequently to keep the shopping experience fresh.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the store’s opening, Pritchett’s mother, Marlene, was present to officially mark the occasion. The event also included Pritchett’s siblings, emphasizing the family-oriented aspect of the business. “We want to keep supporting Winchester and supporting local groups,” Pritchett said, reflecting the family’s deep-rooted ties to the community.

A tribute to Pritchett’s late wife, Melanie, who passed away in 2021, the store carries her name as a lasting remembrance. Pritchett also shared future plans for expansion if the outlet proves successful, with potential locations being considered in places such as Frankfort.

As Melanie’s Premium Outlet opens its doors to Winchester residents, it promises to be a valuable addition to local shopping options, filled with quality products at exceptional prices.
