If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to stop by B’s Bakery located at 241 W. Main St. in Frankfort. They are taking pre-orders for their famous King Cakes for $28, serving 8-10 people, or $38 for filled varieties. This bakery is also whipping up some delightful Mardi Gras-themed cupcakes and cookies. While they’ll be closed on the day itself, you can pick up your tasty treats on Saturday before, ensuring you’re ready for the festivities.
Join the party at Bayou Bluegrass at their Manchester Reserve location on March 4 for a genuine Louisiana-style feast. They are hosting a crawfish boil and offering a buffet packed with tantalizing dishes like fried alligator, jambalaya, and gumbo. Don’t forget to satisfy your sweet tooth with a piece of King Cake or finish off with delightful beignets.
Mark your calendars because Bear & The Butcher is rolling out fabulous Cajun specials from March 1-4! Feast on dishes such as Cajun Mac & Cheese and Shrimp & Grits, while enjoying some Mardi Gras trivia to elevate the fun. Caramanda’s is also getting in on the action with a “funfetti” King Cake available for pre-order and comes with a selection of festive cupcakes too—just give them 48 hours’ notice for the little treat!

Donut Days is making your Mardi Gras even sweeter with in-store King Cakes for $26.99, complete with colorful beads and a baby figurine. Meanwhile, DV8 is spicing things up with their special King Cake cinnamon rolls, available until March 4.
On February 28, Gumbo YaYa starts their annual celebration and will offer traditional dishes alongside fully decorated King Cakes for $35 and convenient party packs for carryout. J. Render’s will delight everyone with their jambalaya specials kicking off from March 1. Customers can also place their King Cake orders at Martine’s Pastries with a variety of filling options, available for pick-up on Fat Tuesday or the weekend before.
Proud Mary will have a cozy heated tent despite previous flooding issues, offering a delightful crawfish boil, jambalaya, and more Cajun specialties. Ramsey’s Diners will host live crawfish and shrimp boils, serving up seafood gumbo and red beans and rice, with drink specials all day long. From Feb. 27 through March 5, Selma’s is dishing out their own Mardi Gras specials, including savory red beans and rice and, of course, King Cakes.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Shamrock will be serving up jambalaya, gumbo, and Hurricane drink specials to round out the festivities. Not to be outdone, Wallace Station will delight you with their signature King Cake beignets and seafood po-boys. And finally, Windy Corner is bringing their best-selling dishes leading up to Mardi Gras, ensuring there’s something for everyone!
Zim’s is also joining the celebration, featuring tantalizing duck gumbo and other traditional dishes, coupled with their Midway Bakery King Cake as part of their scrumptious offerings. It seems there’s no shortage of deliciousness in Lexington this Mardi Gras!
