Kick off the month on March 2 with the Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition at the University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and the competition begins at 2 p.m. This event not only showcases amazing talent but also offers more than $700,000 in scholarships and prizes. Admission is free, but donations are certainly welcome!
If you’re in the mood for laughs, head over to Rupp Arena later that day at 7 p.m. for the Jim Gaffigan Comedy Show. With ticket prices starting at just $26.75, you can enjoy some hilarious stand-up from the master of observational comedy in his tour titled Everything is Wonderful!.
Who doesn’t love tacos? From March 3 to 9, explore Crave Taco Week at over 19 participating restaurants in Lexington. You can savor a trio of delicious tacos for only $7.50. Calling all comic fans! The Lexington Comic Con is taking place from March 6 to 9 at the Central Bank Center.
