Lexington, Ky. – A shooting incident late last night has left one individual hospitalized, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after midnight on the 300 block of West Short Street, situated near Mill Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle that had sustained damage from the gunfire.
Subsequently, law enforcement received a call informing them of a shooting victim at a separate location. The unnamed victim was found to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
As of now, no suspects have been identified in relation to the incident. Lexington Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist their investigation.
