Lexington Police Seek Suspects in Murder Investigation

Lexington, Ky. – Lexington police are actively searching for two individuals believed to be connected to a recent murder. The suspects, identified as Brian Marquez Chavez and Kevin Marquez Chavez, are accused of fatally shooting a woman on Betsy Lane.

The Fayette County coroner has identified the victim as Esmerelda Lizete Rodriguez Perez, who was shot on September 8. On the same night, a second victim arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds but managed to survive.

Both Brian and Kevin Marquez Chavez are facing serious charges, which include murder and attempted murder. The police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
