Early Morning Shooting in Lexington Under Police Investigation

Police Respond to Distress Call

Lexington officers were promptly on the scene in the early hours of Tuesday morning, responding to a call concerning a shooting incident on Cambridge Drive. The time of the distress call was logged at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Victim Found Wounded

Upon arrival, the officers found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was swiftly transported to the hospital for medical attention. As per the current medical reports, they are expected to recover from their injuries.

Location of the Offense Yet to be Determined

The law enforcement personnel are still investigating whether the shooting took place within or outside a local apartment complex. In the meantime, no charges concerning the incident have been filed yet.
