Lexington, Ky. – One person has been arrested regarding a homicide that occurred on Russell Cave Road. Steven McGaughy, 30, was taken into custody on Thursday, following a deadly shooting incident from early morning on September 27. The victim has been identified as Jaquan Grundy, a 25-year-old resident of Louisville.
Authorities utilized the Real-Time Intelligence Center along with Flock license plate readers and FUSUS technology to identify McGaughy as a suspect in the case. He now faces charges of murder, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief. McGaughy is currently being detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.
