“reunion of a lifetime.” A dedicated man reached out, convinced that he had found his long-lost cat, Uncle Pudgy. But this wasn’t just any cat; he’s believed to be the man’s beloved feline companion, Mercy, who had gone missing over three years ago!

Mercy’s disappearing act happened during a chaotic move to Tennessee, when he managed to leap out of a car door. Since then, this owner has searched high and low for his precious kitty, never losing hope. Thanks to some sleuthing and a few old photos, LHS confirmed that Uncle Pudgy was indeed Mercy. The moment the two were reunited was nothing short of magical. Uncle Pudgy dashed into his owner’s arms, purring and rubbing against him as if to say, “I’ve missed you!” It’s a beautiful reminder of the bond between pets and their humans, showing that love knows no time apart.

A Call for Help: German Shepherd Rescues

20 German Shepherds from a troubling hoarding situation on Old Richmond Road. While the dogs were not bred for sale, the number of animals had overwhelmed their owner, creating chaos both inside and outside the home.
