Lexington’s Culinary Scene Thrives with Exciting New Business Openings

Lexington is experiencing a vibrant surge in its culinary and entertainment scene with several new business openings across the city. These establishments are bringing diverse offerings ranging from food and beverages to social experiences.

2 Fisted Willie’s has recently opened at 388 Woodland Ave., showcasing a rooftop patio that promises an inviting atmosphere. Patrons can enjoy a selection of craft cocktails, shots, and live music, making it a fresh hotspot for nightlife.

At 200 W. Main St., The Greenery, a new coffee and social space by The Grove Lex, is now welcoming visitors. This venue offers a cozy environment for coffee lovers and aims to provide a community-focused space.

BK’s Cookies & More has launched a new storefront at 356 Longview Plaza, Lexington. This sweet destination features cookie-making classes, variety sampling events, and an extensive menu including cookies, brownies, ice cream, and sundaes, catering to all dessert enthusiasts.

Adding to the city’s dining options, Parlour Lexington has taken over the former O’Charley’s location at 2099 Harrodsburg Rd., offering a new menu and dining experience for local residents.

For sports and leisure enthusiasts, the Sand Trap has opened its doors at 2532 Regency Rd., presenting an indoor golf simulator coupled with a full bar, providing a unique venue for both golfers and non-golfers alike.

In a bid to expand its reach, Drake’s is set to establish a new location in Elizabethtown, slated to open in late October, with plans for additional locations in Ashland, Bowling Green, and even Terre Haute, Indiana, showcasing its growing popularity.

Osaka Hamburg has also made its debut inside the Holiday Inn at 1976 Justice Dr., offering a delicious selection of hibachi, teriyaki, and tempura for those in search of Asian cuisine.

Lexington’s vibrant microbrewery scene is bolstered by the recent grand reopening of Brewer Dude at 740 National Ave., which not only supplies homebrew enthusiasts but also serves as a microbrewery.

Food lovers can rejoice as Thea’s Bass and Biddy Kitchen opens at Greyline Station, 101 W. Loudon Ave., featuring a menu rich in fried chicken and fish complemented by an array of house-made sauces.

Lastly, Little Spoon Creamery is now serving its delights at 2055 Lantern Ridge Dr., Richmond. This scoop shop specializes in Lexington-based Crank and Boom ice cream, adding a sweet touch to the local dessert scene.
