Lexington, Ky. – Debra Carrier has been declared the winner of the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home, an announcement made after an extensive eight-month building process. The Dream Home, located at 3520 Stolen Horse Trace, represents the 10th project of its kind in Lexington.
The home was constructed by Mulberry Builders, marking their second participation in this charitable initiative. Throughout the building period, a dedicated team comprising volunteers, sponsors, and trade partners collaborated to bring this project to life.
As a significant outcome of this endeavor, the campaign raised an impressive $800,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This money will contribute to the hospital’s mission of treating and curing pediatric diseases.
The St. Jude Dream Home project not only provides a chance for a local resident to win a new house but also plays a crucial role in funding vital research and treatment efforts for children battling serious health challenges. The community’s involvement has been pivotal in making this year’s campaign a success.
With a strong emphasis on community support and fundraising, the St. Jude Dream Home has become a cherished tradition in Lexington, illustrating the power of collective efforts towards a noble cause.
As the winner, Carrier will be able to enjoy the benefits of a brand-new home, with the added satisfaction of contributing to a cause that touches countless lives. The community looks forward to another successful Dream Home campaign in the coming year.
