Lexington Community Celebrates Winner of 2024 St. Jude Dream Home, Raising $800,000 for Pediatric Research

Lexington, Kentucky – A winner has been announced for the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home. Debra Carrier has been drawn as the lucky recipient of the house located at 3520 Stolen Horse Trace. This marks the 10th Dream Home built in Lexington, designed with the collaboration of Mulberry Builders and a dedicated team of volunteers, sponsors, and trade partners.

The project has brought together the community over the past eight months, culminating in the construction of the stunning home. Through this initiative, the team has successfully raised $800,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, contributing significantly to the fight against childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The Dream Home project emphasizes community involvement and philanthropy, spotlighting the importance of united efforts to support significant causes. This year’s winner, Carrier, expressed her joy and surprise at winning the home, which stands as a beacon of hope and support for families battling health challenges.

Building on the success of past initiatives, the program continues to engage local residents who are eager to contribute. The home’s construction not only showcases architectural talent but also reflects the generosity of a community willing to come together for a noble cause.

The Home will be visited by the community, allowing others to see the craftsmanship and dedication poured into the project. As the team celebrates this achievement, they remain focused on the substantial impact their efforts have had on the lives of children and families supported by St. Jude.

With a legacy of past Dream Homes, the 2024 edition stands as a testament to what can be accomplished when individuals unite for a common goal. Lexington’s commitment to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital continues to pave the way for future initiatives, ensuring that children’s needs remain at the forefront.
