Lexington has unveiled the 2024 All-City High School Football Team, honoring outstanding players from nine teams in the area. The selections were made through nominations and rankings from the coaches of each varsity KHSAA program, with each coach nominating up to ten players for consideration.
The prestigious event recognized players across various positions, with a First and Second Team established alongside Honorable Mentions. This year has seen a remarkable display of talent, setting a high standard for future seasons.
**Quarterbacks** Luke Pennington of Sayre and Saxton Howard from Lexington Christian lead the charge. Both players showcased exceptional skills throughout the season, contributing significantly to their teams’ performances.
The **running backs** list is headlined by BJ Evans from Tates Creek and Kalen “Jaws” Washington of Bryan Station, both of whom demonstrated remarkable agility and strength, contributing to their teams’ rushing attacks.
