Madisonville, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Center’s Technology Transfer Program has announced the successful completion of the 2024 Kentucky Roads Scholars and Road Masters Training Program. This year, a total of 212 Roads Scholars and 179 Road Masters have successfully finished the training, which is designed to enhance skills in the transportation sector.
The training program encompasses a comprehensive 95 training hours and includes nine full-day courses for Roads Scholars and seven full-day courses for Road Masters. These programs cater to individuals from both local and state transportation agencies as well as those from private businesses.
Since its inception, approximately 4,400 Roads Scholars and 3,400 Road Masters have completed the program, reflecting its significance and enduring popularity within the transportation community.
The Technology Transfer Program offers these training courses throughout the year at the University of Kentucky’s Pigman College of Engineering.
