Kentucky Man Taken into Custody over Alleged Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

Kentucky man arrested for alleged possession of child sexual abuse material

In a shocking incident coming to the fore, a man from Hart County, Kentucky was taken into custody by the Kentucky State Police (KSP) for the possession of alleged child sexual abuse material. The man, identified as 44-year-old Anwar Barbour, was arrested on charges of possessing matter representing a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.

The Arrest

As per reports, the KSP detectives received a complaint about Barbour having explicit images and videos of children stored on his cell phone. Acting swiftly upon the complaint, the KSP authorities seized Barbour’s phone and set their Electronic Crimes Branch to work for a thorough examination.

Following the investigation, Barbour was brought in for an interview on Friday and was subsequently arrested. The accused is now facing two counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and has been remanded into the custody of Taylor County Detention Center.
