“He sent me a screenshot,” reported Steven’s friend. “I was driving, and I zoomed in and I almost wrecked. I was like no way you just did that!” This thrill led both to the Kentucky Lottery headquarters in Louisville on November 13, where Steven was issued a check for $188,138.24 after taxes were deducted.
Steven has big plans for his winnings, stating he intends to pay off his home. His friend added with a laugh, “And take his friend to a fancy dinner.” As he claimed his prize, Steven expressed disbelief, saying, “It still hasn’t sunk in.”
