Jeff’s Donuts Expands to Lexington, Bringing 24/7 Sweetness to Local Community

Lexington is set to welcome a new doughnut destination as Jeff’s Donuts, a popular Louisville-area doughnut shop, expands into the city. The new location will be situated at 1080 S. Broadway Suite 204, conveniently located near the University of Kentucky campus and opposite First Watch, close to the bubble tea shop Tsao Cha.

Although the company has not announced an official opening date or operational hours, it is notable that all six existing Louisville locations operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This new venue will mark the first Jeff’s Donuts location outside of Louisville, significantly broadening their reach.

Founded in 2003 just outside Louisville in downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana, Jeff’s Donuts has become known for its diverse array of hand-made doughnuts. The menu offers 40 varieties of premium doughnuts, including a specialty range of 22 different Long Johns with flavors like Orange Dream, Raspberry Zinger, and Vanilla Iced Fruity Pebbles.

Among their most popular items are the Honeymooners, a unique inside-out filled doughnut topped with various specialty toppings, such as chocolate peanut butter and caramel apple. Other menu staples include apple fritters, honeybuns, and the nostalgic tiger tails.

Every doughnut is made fresh at each location, and regardless of size or shape, the price remains consistent at $2.50 per doughnut. Customers have the option to purchase individual pieces or build their own boxes of four, six, 12, or even up to 26 doughnuts.

The opening of Jeff’s Donuts in Lexington not only introduces a new option for local sweetness but also reflects the brand’s positive growth trajectory since its inception. As the company expands, local residents eagerly anticipate the arrival of a fresh batch of this beloved doughnut variety.
