This event will showcase a diverse group of local artists who will demonstrate their unique crafts while offering their handcrafted items for sale.

The Artisan Fair aims to provide a platform for local talent, featuring creations such as hand-thrown pottery, bespoke jewelry, and much more. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and purchase these one-of-a-kind items while witnessing artisans in action through various demonstrations.

Confirmed demonstrations include cookie decorating by BakeMiaCake, yarn spinning by Alyssa Kilanowski, needle felting by Dana Wolford, glass blowing by Mobile Glass Studios, crochet by Brianna DeWitt, and pottery by ARJO Pottery Collective. According to Kate Irwin, Programming Coordinator of Special Events, “Our goal is to provide local artists and craftsmen/women an opportunity to share their creations with the community and to cultivate interest in their creative process.”

Irwin expressed excitement about the local talent in Jessamine County, emphasizing the fair’s role in inspiring attendees to explore their own creative potential.

In addition to the Artisan Fair, the library will also host the annual KCAL Old Time Radio Christmas Show, which features comedic performances and homemade treats.
