Lexington Community Asked to Help Find Escaped Foster Dog
Lexington, Ky. — Local animal rescue group, Paws 4 the Cause, is seeking assistance from the community after a foster dog named Lady escaped during a walk on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred near the Merrick Place Apartments in Lexington.
Lady, a small dog weighing approximately 18 pounds, was last seen heading towards Chinoe Road. She is microchipped and was last observed wearing a pink leash. Paws 4 the Cause has urged anyone who may spot Lady to avoid chasing her and instead to contact them directly at 859-962-8256.
The organization is emphasizing the importance of not chasing Lady, as doing so may frighten her further and make it difficult for rescuers to bring her back safely.
As of now, no further details about Lady’s whereabouts have been reported. Paws 4 the Cause is rallying community members to keep an eye out for the dog and report any sightings promptly. The organization has expressed hope that through community vigilance, they can successfully locate Lady and ensure her safe return to her foster family.
In the meantime, Paws 4 the Cause continues to provide updates through their communication channels, asking the public to share information and support their efforts in finding Lady.
As this search continues, the local community is encouraged to help spread the word, as every sighting could be vital in bringing Lady home.
