Fayette County School Board Race Sees Candidacy Withdrawal
Fayette County—In a significant shift for the upcoming school board elections, data analyst Gregory Brenner has officially withdrawn his candidacy for the Third District Fayette School Board. As Brenner steps back from the race, he has thrown his support behind fellow candidate Isaac Sebourn. “After discussing with my family and lots of consideration, I am announcing the withdrawal of my candidacy for School Board District 3 in Fayette County and endorsing Isaac Sebourn,” said Brenner. In addition to the District 3 contest, other vacant seats on the Fayette County School Board are also drawing attention. In the Fifth District, challenger Betsy Rutherford is running against incumbent Amy Green. Meanwhile, in the First District, Monica Mundy will face off against incumbent Marilyn Clark.
