Two Inmates Escape from Blackburn Correctional Complex, Authorities Seek Public's Help

Lexington, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police are actively searching for two inmates who escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex. The escapees, Bradley E. Cornwell and Adam E. Ball, are believed to have left the facility together in a water truck.

The duo was last observed on Sunday at the Shell gas station on Iron Works Pike. Authorities have indicated that they may be heading toward Scott County.

Adam E. Ball, 38, is described as a white male standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a full-body khaki jumpsuit accompanied by a khaki hat.

Bradley E. Cornwell, 40, is reported as a white male with a height of 6 feet and weighing 175 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes, and was last spotted dressed in a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes, and a khaki hat.

Officials urge the public to take caution, advising that if they encounter Cornwell or Ball, they should not approach them but instead call 911 immediately.

The circumstances surrounding the escape remain unclear, but the police are pursuing all possible leads to locate the inmates swiftly.
