First Finalist for J. David Rosenberg College of Law Dean Position to Attend Open Forum at University of Kentucky

Candidate A for dean of J. David Rosenberg College of Law to participate in open forum

On Monday, April 15, 2024, University of Kentucky announced that the nationwide search for a new dean of the J. David Rosenberg College of Law has produced three outstanding finalists. The first of the trio, referred to as Candidate A, will participate in an open forum on Tuesday, April 16.

Community Engagement

The open forum will take place at 2 p.m. in the G. Chad Perry III Grand Courtroom in the Rosenberg College of Law. Members of the University of Kentucky community will have the opportunity to engage with the candidate during this forum. The university has encouraged its community to join this important dialogue, welcoming any feedback about the participating candidate. Meanwhile, those unable to attend may view the proceedings via Zoom.

Finalists Selection

The university has decided to maintain confidentiality for the candidates until 24 hours before their respective forum. The names and CVs of the finalists will be available for the UK community on the search website a day before their forum. Promptly after each forum, a confidential online survey and a recording for the forum will be available on this site for the next 48 hours.

The Selection Committee

UK Provost Robert S. DiPaola has taken the charge of overseeing the selection committee. After receiving feedback from the committee and the campus community, the Provost will make the final decision about the new dean of J. David Rosenberg College of Law. Notably, supervisors have been prompted to synchronize with team members to ensure maximum attendance and involvement in the open forums.
