Clark Regional Medical Center Opens First Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic in Winchester

Winchester, KY – Clark Regional Medical Center is expanding its service offerings with the opening of the Clark Clinic Behavioral Health, the first outpatient behavioral health clinic in the region. Located at 160 Pedro Way, the facility aims to provide accessible and comprehensive mental health services to Winchester and the surrounding communities.

The clinic will address a growing need for mental health support by offering services that include grief counseling, medication management, ADD/ADHD assessments and treatments, and medical and psychiatric care for both adolescents and adults. Ekaterina Pik, PMHP, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University, will lead the clinic. Her expertise focuses on caring for psychiatric patients across various age groups.

Matt Smith, CEO of Clark Regional Medical Center, expressed enthusiasm for the new clinic, highlighting its dedicated approach to behavioral health. “We are excited to bring these much-needed services to the Winchester community,” Smith stated. He added that while multiple primary care clinics exist within the organization, this facility is designed specifically for those facing mental health issues, ensuring they have targeted support for conditions such as anxiety and depression.

The Clark Clinic Behavioral Health is currently welcoming new patients and is available for appointments by calling 859-745-8006. In conjunction with the opening, the clinic will celebrate the holiday season with an open house event on Tuesday, December 10, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Refreshments, games, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus will be available, and the event is free and open to the public.

This development marks a significant step in addressing mental health needs in the Winchester area, providing residents with essential resources for wellness and support.
