Man Found Dead Along Lisle Road in Scott County, Suspected Connection to Lexington Vehicle Theft

Scott County, Kentucky – A man was discovered deceased alongside Lisle Road on Friday morning, following a suspected robbery incident linked to a stolen vehicle in Lexington. The victim has been identified as Kadeem Jackson, 30, who was found with a single gunshot wound, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:30 a.m. about a vehicle off the roadway. Upon arriving, deputies located Jackson’s body outside a black SUV, which has been confirmed as stolen overnight from Fayette County. The sheriff’s office indicated that “foul play is suspected,” as Jackson’s death may be the result of a violent crime.

The circumstances surrounding the vehicle theft were revealed by the Lexington Police Department, which had received reports of a robbery involving a firearm on Kearney Ridge Boulevard at approximately 1:39 a.m. on Friday. The victim stated that their vehicle was taken while driving on Georgetown Road.

Scott County Coroner Mark Sutton confirmed that Jackson’s body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort for an autopsy. This examination is expected to aid in determining the exact cause of death, which remains under investigation.
