Georgetown Prepares for Exciting Halloween Celebrations Ahead

Georgetown Gears Up for Halloween Festivities

Georgetown, KY is set to welcome a variety of Halloween celebrations as the spooky season approaches. With numerous events scheduled throughout the city, families and community members can indulge in festivities that promise to be both fun and safe.

This weekend marks the beginning of the Halloween season with multiple Trunk or Treat events. On Saturday, October 19, Bi-Water Farms and Greenhouse will host a Trunk or Treat featuring Jeeps from 5 to 7 p.m. Following on Sunday, October 20, Georgetown Baptist Church will also hold a Trunk or Treat from 4:30 to 6 p.m., allowing locals to celebrate early in the week.

Looking ahead, a series of events continues to crop up before Halloween night. On Thursday, October 24, two trunk or treat events will take place: Creekside Elementary School PTA from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Garth Elementary School & Immanuel Baptist Church from 6 to 7 p.m.

For adults seeking a more thrilling experience, the Villains Ball at Ward Hall on Friday, October 25, promises an enchanting evening. This haunted mansion fundraiser, aimed at those 21 and over, will run from 7 to 11 p.m. with an admission fee starting at $60.

The festivities continue with the city of Sadieville hosting Nightmare on Pike Street on Saturday, October 26, from 5 to 9 p.m., bringing a unique atmosphere to the Halloween celebrations.

Following the weekend, more trunk or treat gatherings are planned. On Sunday, October 27, Oxford Christian Church will host from 5 to 7 p.m., Southland Christian Church from 6 to 8 p.m., and Country Boy Brewing will conclude the day with another trunk or treat from 7 to 9 p.m.

The main event—trick or treating—is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, between 6 and 8 p.m. Residents of Georgetown, Stamping Ground, and Sadieville are encouraged to participate in this age-old tradition to cap off the Halloween festivities.

As Halloween approaches, community members are invited to partake in these local events, making it a memorable time for families across the region. With mild temperatures projected in the upcoming days, outdoor activities will be especially enjoyable for everyone.
