On May 29th during a routine training session, he experienced a dizzy spell. His condition did not improve, prompting his colleagues at the fire department to send him for medical evaluation. Fire Chief Whitely shared, “At this time, he does have some blurred vision, he has some nauseousness, he has some dizziness. He’s lost a tremendous amount of weight, and we just want to bring awareness to his story.”

After learning of the tumor, Crigler bravely underwent a gruelling 12-hour brain surgery. He is currently at the Gateway Rehabilitation Unit, awaiting his surgery results. His current status is stable as he rests and recovers.
