Severe Storm and Flood Threats Loom Over the Week Ahead

Following a relatively dry Sunday session with temperatures oscillating between the high 70s and the low 80s, the weather pattern is predicted to shift drastically come Monday. Late mornings to early afternoons have been identified as the likely period for the storm’s occurrence. Subsequent showers are then expected to extend into the afternoon and evening.

Wednesday’s forecast suggests a potentially significant severe weather event. The SPC has issued another “SLIGHT RISK” level for our state, owing to the strong ingredients catalyzing severe weather. This extends their traditional predictions, which only cover up to three days, to the fourth day.
Although specifics regarding timings and other details are yet to be defined, the second half of Wednesday and the following night are anticipated to be the time frame for this severe weather phenomenon.
