Hopkinsville, Kentucky — A 33-year-old woman, Stephanie Vickers, is under arrest facing multiple charges related to child sexual exploitation. The Kentucky State Police (KSP) initiated an undercover investigation as part of their Internet Crimes Against Children task force after discovering that Vickers was allegedly sharing explicit images of minors online.
The investigation commenced after reports indicated Vickers’ involvement in distributing child sexual exploitation materials. On October 3, law enforcement conducted an interview at her residence in Hopkinsville and seized equipment believed to be used in facilitating these crimes.
Vickers now faces serious legal repercussions, with charges that include four counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12, along with four counts of possession of similar material. Additionally, she is charged with four counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance.
She is currently incarcerated at the Christian County Detention Center as the investigation continues. Authorities have not released further details, citing the ongoing nature of the case.
