2nd Annual KSP Classics, Customs and Cruisers Car Show Thrills Lexington

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) invigorated the Lexington community with their electrifying 2nd Annual KSP Classics, Customs and Cruisers Car Show on Saturday, housed in the sprawling environs of Kentucky Horse Park.

Fundamental Purpose of the Event

The car show is a meticulous platform engineered by the Kentucky State Police to support the distinguished KY Trooper Outreach Program. The program breathes life into KSP’s vision for a more involved community engagement through empowering activities and programs.

Highlights of the Sparkling Event

The car show was a grand spectacle featuring hundreds of dynamic, radiant automobiles on display. Patrons at the event enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the car owners, soak up the rhythms of melodious music, visit vendors, and particularly, make the acquaintance of the KSP’s brand-new mascot named Justice.

A special partnership was in evidence between KSP and Raising Cane’s that led to a generous gift basket giveaway. The attendees stood a chance to win fascinating goodies like gift cards, a plush dog, a cooler, a hat, a koozie – all integrated diligently into the captivating gift basket.

Sergeant Matt Sudduth reflected on the significance of an event like the car show. He noted, “It shows how much support we actually do have from the communities that we serve. You know, I was talking about sometimes it’s not always a positive outlook on law enforcement but look at we’ve got going on here today. This kind of shows that we do have community support.”
