Chris Evilia, Director of the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, capturing the essence of these public meet-ups, said, “We’re here to provide local input into how our transportation system looks, operates now and into the 25 years into the future.” According to Evilia, these consultations provide the backbone for the region’s transportation blueprint.
